“Quiet, she’s just weird.” – First images from the upcoming Orphan Black comic book series

Last night, I introduced one of my best friends to Orphan Black. …We may or may not have stayed up until 1am watching the whole first season back-to-back (I can’t count how many times I’ve watched it now). Suffice to say, it was an amazing night. But enough of my Cosima-like fangirling for now…

Could this video be more appropriate?

A comic book series based on the TV show has been in the pipeline for a while now, and today, we were given our first sneak peek of what’s ahead starting in February. The images above are a selection of the 8 covers of the first issue, which is about Sarah. Show creators Graeme Manson and John Fawcett talked about their plans for the comic book series at Comic Con this year (I’ve embedded the panel below), which will explore backstories, relationships, and other original material. I need to start sussing out a comic shop.

P.S. Check out the trailer for Age of Adaline, which stars Michiel Huisman (he plays Cal on the show).
